THE FLATS – A native of Waycross, Ga., freshman Shaheed Medlock comes to the Flats after lettering for four years at Ware County High School under head coach Tre Hill.
The 6-foot-5 guard served as the team captain his final three years at Ware County and earned the reputation of an outstanding defensive player. He is attending Georgia Tech on a Bill Gates Millennium Scholarship.
