GREENSBORO, N.C. – After finishing the 2014-15 season on a three-game winning streak with a 17-13 overall record and a 7-9 mark in the ACC, the Georgia Tech women’s basketball team has been slated as the #11 seed in the 2015 ACC Tournament.
As the #11 seed in the tournament, the Yellow Jackets face the #14 seed Clemson at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday on RSN in the first round. This will be the third meeting against Clemson this season. The Yellow Jackets won the two regular season games against Clemson, defeating the Tigers 74-66 at home and 71-59 at Clemson.

The Yellow Jackets are 14-35 overall in the ACC Tournament and 9-11 under Coach Joseph. With an expanded conference, the ACC Tournament features first and second rounds, quarterfinals, semifinals and the championship. Under Coach Joseph, the Jackets are 4-4 in the first round.
The Yellow Jackets are 1-4 against Clemson in the ACC Tournament. Tech’s only win in the postseason against the Tigers was a 74-73 win in 1992 in the semifinals.
All 14 games of this year’s tournament will be televised. The first, second and quarterfinal rounds will be carried by the league’s regional sports network, RSN. Both Saturday semifinal games will be carried nationally by ESPNU, while a national audience will also watch Sunday’s championship game via ESPN. In addition, all game will be available via ESPN3 and WatchESPN.
