THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech swimming & diving team hosts Duke University Saturday morning at the GT Aquatic Center, and the Yellow Jackets will honor their 10 seniors before the meet. Admission is free and the meet begins at 11 a.m.
The Senior Day ceremony begins at approximately 10:45 a.m., and Tech will honor Kate Brandus, Elliott Brockelbank, Andrew Chetcuti, Dylan Kase, Andrew Kosic, Kelsey Maloney, Catherine Richards, Mark Sarman, Nico van Duijn and Kate Woolbright
The meet also marks the Yellow Jackets’ final regular-season ACC home meet. Tech is at Virginia Tech next Saturday, and hosts Darton on January 31 in the regular-season finale.
Tech is looking to continue building towards the championship portion of the schedule, and Saturday’s meet versus the Blue Devils will be a good measuring stick.
“We’re excited for tomorrow’s meet,” said head coach Courtney Shealy Hart. “Obviously it will be emotional as we honor our seniors, and this has been such a special class that has helped build a great foundation for the future of our program. But there’s work to be done as we continue our preparation for the ACC Championship and Duke will be a great test on Saturday.”
