THE FLATS – Eleven members of the Georgia Tech track and field team are set to compete in the 2015 NCAA East Preliminaries Thursday-Saturday hosted by North Florida at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla. The top 12 finishers in each individual event qualify for the 2015 NCAA Outdoor Championships set for June 10-13 in Eugene, Ore.

Six men — Spencer Allen (110 hurdles), Nathan Daniel (pole vault), Zack Fanelty (800m),  Jeremy Greenwald (1,500m), Brandon Lasater (800m) and Myles McDavid (long jump) — and five women — Samantha Becker (pole vault), Melissa Fairey (10,000m), Kelly Meyer (10,000m), Katie Townsend (10,000m) and Bailey Weiland (high jump) will represent Georgia Tech at the meet.

As of May 18, Lasater is ranked No. 16 in the country in the 800m and Becker is No. 22 in the pole vault according to the USTFCCCA weekly rankings.

Thursday
4:30 p.m. — Samantha Becker; pole vault — first round
6 p.m. — Jeremy Greenwald; 1,500m — first round
7 p.m. — Myles McDavid; long jump — first round
8:35 p.m. — Brandon Lasater, Zack Fanelty; 800m — first round
9 p.m. — Melissa Fairey, Kelly Meyer, Katie Townsend; 10,000m — semifinal

Friday
4:30 p.m. — Nathan Daniel; pole vault — first round
5:30 p.m. — Spencer Allen; 110m hurdles — first round
7:15 p.m. — Men’s 800m; quarterfinals

Saturday
6 p.m. — Bailey Weiland; high jump — first round
6:45 p.m. — Men’s 1,500m; quarterfinals
7:20 p.m. — 110m hurdles; quarterfinals
