GT Track & Field Heads to Birmingham

Dec. 3, 2015

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Georgia Tech women’s track & field squad will compete in the Panther Indoor Icebreaker hosted by Birmingham Southern College on Friday. The events will begin at 10 a.m. ET (9 a.m. CT) at the Birmingham CrossPlex. Tech’s participants will include sprinters, jumpers and vaulters as well as one thrower.

“The women are excited to have an opportunity to compete this weekend in Birmingham,” head women’s coach Alan Drosky said. “To have a competition at the end of the semester gives them something to shoot for, something to keep them motivated and training hard through the semester.
