GREENSBORO, N.C. – The lone All-American in Georgia Tech men’s cross country history, Kevin Graham was named to the Atlantic Coast Conference’s 50th Anniversary Men’s Cross Country Team. The league office announced the 50-member squad Tuesday as a part of its 50th anniversary celebration.
Graham, who competed from 1991-94, placed 32nd at the NCAA Championships in ’94, earning All-America honors in the process. That performance marked his second consecutive trip to nationals, as he also qualified in ’93. Graham is the only two-time NCAA individual qualifier in Tech history.
Graham is also the only Yellow Jacket to earn All-ACC honors in back-to-back seasons, as he placed second and third, in 1993 and ’94, respectively. His runner-up finish in ’93 stands as the highest individual finish at the conference meet in Tech history.
Fiftieth Anniversary Teams will be selected in all of the conference’s sports and a top 50 overall men’s and women’s list will be chosen by a Blue Ribbon Committee of media, coaches, administrators and veteran observers of the Conference.
