Getting to Know <i>Kirsten Flower</i>

ATLANTA – Yellow Jacket tennis fans can get to know members of the 2008 team over the next few weeks by visiting on a regular basis. Today, sophomore Kirsten Flower gives us some details about herself. The Columbus, Ohio native is currently 19-8 on the season in singles and has a 15-8 doubles record.

Top reason that I chose to attend Georgia Tech: Coach Shelton and all the people involved with the tennis team

Favorite sport to play, aside from tennis: Flag football

Favorite sport to watch, aside from tennis: Football, especially college football

Favorite Atlanta restaurant: 10 degrees South, a South African restaurant

Siblings: Sister Shannon (16), a soccer player; Sister Nicole (14), a tennis player

Best board game: Monopoly

Favorite WTA player: Ana Ivonavic because she hits the ball so well and smooth and she fights for every point.
