Gergen Named Wendy's Georgia Tech Student-Athletes of the Week

ATLANTA–Georgia Tech standout Jayme Gergen was named the Wendy’s Georgia Tech Student-Athletes of the Week for Monday, August 30, 2004.

Gergen, a senior from Topeka, Kansas, recorded a career high 20 kills and a career high 10 block assists while hitting .459 against No. 11 Colorado State. Against No. 1 USC, she had 12 kills and hit .385. Gergen was named to the NACWAA Classic all-tournament team. She currently leads the team with a .429 hitting percentage and 4.57 kills per game.
