Georgia Tech's Lynnette Moster Named ACC Player of the Week

Georgia Tech outside-hitter Lynnette Moster was named Atlantic Coast Conference Volleyball Player of the Week after leading the Yellow Jackets to a 3-0 finish in last weekend’s Georgia Tech Courtyard by Marriot Classic. The Jackets upset No. 22 Louisville while also defeating Florida A&M and Miami (Ohio) in the tournament.

The Liberty, Ind., native posted 63 kills on the weekend, including a career-high 24 in the Yellow Jacket win over Louisville. On the week, she averaged 5.73 kills per game, while hitting .336 throughout the three matches. She also added 2.27 digs per game, including 14 against Louisville.

Moster, the Most Valuable Player at the Courtyard by Marriot Classic, has helped the Jackets to their best start (6-1) since 1996.
