Georgia Tech Women's Basketball Preseason Diary -- Nov. 1

Nov. 2, 2005

by Jill Ingram

After having a couple of days off we are now back into the grind of things. Today started off as an ordinary day for me. I began with my 8:00 calculus class, which I had a test in today. We will not talk about that. Then I went to my marketing class. After class I marched my way over to the Athletic Association to study with my tutor, and grab a bite to eat. Then I decided to go over to the locker room so I could sneak a little nap in before practice. This is a typical day for some student athletes.

Today’s practice was a good one. We realized that we needed to spend more time on our transition defense because it really showed in our scrimmage this past weekend. Defense is something that our team prides ourselves in because when everything isn’t going our we know we can count on stopping the other team from scoring.

All in all today was a great day for the Georgia Tech Women’s Basketball team because we got better today like we do everyday!
