*With 145 yards rushing today, junior JOE BURNS passed C.J. Williams (2,365 yards) to move into fourth place on Georgia Tech’s career rushing list. Burns now has 2,507 yards in his career, and only Robert Lavette (4,066), Jerry Mays (3,699) and Eddie Lee Ivery (3,517) stand ahead of him.

*With 145 yards, JOE BURNS recorded his sixth 100-yard game of the season and the 11th of his career. The Tech record for 100 yard games in a season is 8 (Eddie Lee Ivery, 1978), while the career record is 18 (Robert Lavette, 1981-84).

*JOE BURNS raised his season rushing total to 1,038 yards, becoming just the fifth player in Georgia Tech history to top the 1,000 yard plateau in a season. The last player to accomplish the feat was C.J. Williams, who rushed for 1,138 yards in 1995.

*Senior ROSS MITCHELL, one of today’s game captains, saw action on offense (fullback), defense (linebacker) and special teams during the game. In fact, he made an appearance on all three units during the first eight minutes of the game.

*Junior tight end WILL HELLER scored his first career touchdown in the first quarter of today’s game.

*Junior wide receiver WILL GLOVER’s 65-yard TD reception in the second quarter was the longest reception of his career. His previous best was a 35-yard reception against Virginia last week.

*With 155 yards receiving, GLOVER recorded his second career 100-yard receiving game. The first came last week at Virginia when he caught 13 passes for 167 yards. In the last two games while Kelly Campbell has not played, Glover now has 22 receptions for 322 yards.
