The Georgia Tech volleyball team moved up two spots to No. 10 in the latest USA Today/AVCA Coaches Poll. The Yellow Jackets, who are currently 5-0, received 1,008 votes. Southern California, the defending national champion, is atop the poll receiving 1,625 points.
The ranking represents the highest ranking in school history and also the highest ranking achieved by any Atlantic Coast Conference school.
The Yellow Jackets travel this weekend to Lincoln, Nebraska, to compete in one of the nation’s toughest tournaments. On Friday, Tech will face No. 17 Michigan State (5-0), followed by a meeting Saturday with No. 13 Santa Clara (6-2) and Sunday match against No. 5 Nebraska (5-0).
