THE FLATS — A number of #ProJackets were recognized last week for their work both on and off the field, as Harrison Butker set a new franchise record, Michael Johnson was nominated by his team for an NFL award and Chris Milton slid his way into trending on Twitter.
Butker, who hit four field goals, including matching his career-high of 53 yards on Sunday, set a new Kansas City Chiefs’ franchise record with 26 made field goals in a single season. He currently has made 28 on the year in his rookie season for the Chiefs.

On the field on Sunday, Johnson recorded six tackles and 2.0 sacks in a loss to the Chicago Bears, however, off the field he received the honor of being nominated as the Cincinnati Bengals’ representative for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award (READ HERE).

Milton and the Indianapolis Colts, who lost in overtime to the Buffalo Bills 13-7 in a snow storm, were all over Twitter for his hustle play to down a punt.

Both #ProJackets Adam Gotsis (two tackles, fumble recovery) and Demaryius Thomas (eight catches, 93 yards, TD) helped lead the Denver Broncos to a 23-0 win over the New York Jets, as Gotsis’ fumble recovery (WATCH HERE) set up a Thomas touchdown in the first quarter.
