Lammers was a hit after being asked about and explaining his summer mechanical engineering project, which involved seeking ways to detect weaknesses in bridges that would allow repairs before the structure fails.

The two teams then headed to the theme park, where the Yellow Jackets spent four hours enjoying rides like the Tron Light Cycle Power Run, Soaring over the Horizon and Pirates of the Caribbean. Thursday, the teams will practice again and enjoy a cruise on the Huangpu River.
