ATLANTA – Due to rains in the Atlanta area throughout the week that have resulted in poor playing conditions at the Al Bishop Softball Complex, Friday’s games of Georgia Tech’s 11th annual Buzz Classic softball tournament have been postponed until Saturday.
Teams will play their four games originally scheduled for pool play, but bracket play has been cancelled. Action will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, with each team playing three games that day. A fourth game for each team will be played on Sunday beginning at 11 a.m.
The Jackets will now play Lipscomb at 10 a.m. Saturday, followed by a 2 p.m. meeting with Radford and a 6 p.m. game with Maryland. Tech rounds out the event against Troy State at 11 a.m. Sunday.
