Eubanks Returns to NCAA Singles Championship

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech men’s tennis junior Christopher Eubanks was selected for the 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Singles Championship for the third-straight year as announced by the NCAA on Wednesday. The men’s singles championship runs May 24-29 at the Dan Magill Tennis Center in Athens, Ga.

Eubanks and doubles partner, senior Carlos Benito were selected as the third alternates for the doubles draw.

Eubanks has held down the No. 1 position for the Jackets all season, boasting a 27-5 record overall and a 17-2 mark in dual match play. He sits at No. 7 in the latest ITA rankings after climbing as high as No. 4 this season. The Atlanta native was selected to the 64-player draw both his freshman and sophomore campaigns.
