THE FLATS – Georgia Tech diving and women’s swimming are primed and ready to begin championships season as they travel to Greensboro, N.C. to compete in the ACC Championships on Feb. 20-23 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
The Yellow Jackets will face off against some of the best in the country as the ACC features six ranked women’s teams – No. 4 NC State, No. 5 Virginia, No. 12 Duke, No. 16 Notre Dame, No. 19 Louisville and No. 21 North Carolina.
Representing Tech on the diving boards will be Camryn Hidalgo, Carly Doi and Kelsey Dekshenieks for the women’s team and Matt Casillas, Jacob Kreider and Nolan Mallet for the men’s team.
The women’s swimming team will be out in full force as the Yellow Jackets will feature 18 swimmers in the pool come Wednesday. The women’s last outing featured a victory over the Denver Pioneers at home, 195-155.
