Distance Medley Finishes 7th, Porter 9th at NCAA Indoor Championships

FAYETTEVILLE, ARK (Mar. 10) – At the 2000 NCAA Indoor Championships, on Friday, the women’s Distance Medley Relay of Sara Pardue, Becky Megesi, Nikole Campbell, and Coquese Renfroe finished seventh with the time of 11:41.28 to net two points for Georgia Tech. Sara Pardue also competed in the preliminaries in the 800m in the time of 2:06.49, but failing to qualify for the finals on Saturday.

In men’s action, Tech’s lone qualifier, Clayton Porter, just missed all-America honors as he finished ninth in the long jump with a leap of 25′ 0″.
