Entry #16

Time is going by extremely fast. There are only four more regular season games left this year and it feels like just last week we were in preseason workouts. Just like great teams do, we have weathered many storms this year, overcoming obstacles that may have stood in our way. Every loss that we have had this year has been a turning point for us. In some way, shape, or form each loss has made us a smarter and better team. Even after losing to UNC this past Sunday, which was disappointing for us being that we had a great first half and just let it slip away second half, we are not going to allow that to hold us back. Like coach says, “Never get too high over a win, or too low over a loss.”

Our main focus is to correct our mistakes and do what we have to do so that we won’t make the same mistakes in our upcoming games. If watching great basketball and hard work is something you enjoy doing, I strongly encourage you and your family and friends to come out and support us this Thursday February 19, 2009 at 7pm as we defeat Maryland. In the past couple of years, playing against Maryland, whether home or away, has always been a thriller for the crowd. Maryland also has a very talented team but we take pride in defending our home court and we can guarantee you a great game. PLEASE COME OUT AND SUPPORT US!!!!!!
