JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Georgia Tech track and field opened competition at NCAA East Prelims in Jacksonville with just one Yellow Jacket in action on day one.
After a multi-hour weather delay, Winston DeCuir III was in action in the first round of the 400m hurdles, running a 56.15 for 44th place.
Competition for Tech continues on Thursday, with Jade Ofotan in the 100m, Kate Jortberg in the 10,000m and Ameia Wilson in the long jump.

Full Steam Ahead
Full Steam Ahead is a $500 million fundraising initiative to achieve Georgia Tech athletics’ goal of competing for championships at the highest level in the next era of intercollegiate athletics.
