Day Two Complete At Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The second day of competition Friday is in the books for the Georgia Tech track and field team at the 120th Annual Penn Relays at historic Franklin Field.

Broderick Snoddy placed eighth in the men’s 100 meter preliminaries with a mark of 10.63. He will run in the finals set for Saturday at 3:45 p.m.

Julienne McKee placed seventh in the triple jump with a leap of 12.48m (40-11.50). Teammate Jasmine Bush logged a mark of 11.39m (37-4.50) in the same event.

In the relay events, the men’s DMR team comprised of Nat Estes, Alexander Reese, Cole Jackob and Patrick Fleming placed ninth with a time of 9:57.92.

The women’s sprint medley relay team of Carissa Tipler, Jazmyne Taylor, Samantha Kiblinger and Malin Trollsas ran to a time of 4:11.42. On the men’s side, Spencer Allen, Julian Darden, Nico Metzler and Chris Burnett finished in a time of 3:32.31.

Action continues Saturday as the Georgia Tech men compete in the 100-meter final, 4×800-meter relay and the triple jump.
