Day One At ACC Indoor Championships Complete

Day One Results 

BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Georgia Tech men’s and women’s track and field team finished day one at the 2015 ACC Indoor Championships Thursday at Rector Field House on Virginia Tech’s campus.

Alex Braxton earned Georgia Tech one point in the pentathlon with a career-best performance with 3496 points for eighth place.

The men’s DMR team made up of Zane Coburn, Nat Estes, Chris Burnett and Patrick Fleming finished 13th with a time of 10:14.36. The women’s DMR run by Haley Anderson, Angelica Henderson, Rachel Hammond and Melissa Fairey also placed 13th with a time of 11:54.76.

Friday focuses on the preliminary running events beginning at 2 p.m. with the mile, as well as the final field events for the men’s and women’s high jump, long jump and women’s pole vault. Saturday’s action begins at 10 a.m. and wraps up at 3:50 p.m.
