Day 1 of Vanderbilt Invitational is in the Books

Final Results

Nashville, Tenn. – Day one of the Vanderbilt Invitational was an all-around success for the Yellow Jackets.

In the men’s distance medley relay, Chris Korabik, Tyler Whorton, Michael Reilly, and Joshua Williams finished in first with a time of 10:04.17.

“The women had some really good efforts in the long jump with Denise [Issah] and Taylor [Grimes] bettering the ACC qualifying standard. Bri [Hayden] had a solid day in the 200m, and the DMR team ran well for a second place finish. Tomorrow will have a lot more action, so we are looking forward to having a great day”, said women’s track and field head coach Alan Drosky.

The Jackets will be back at it again later today for Day 2 of the Vanderbilt Invitational .
