Correction To Sting Daily Story

July 5, 2012

In a June 17th Sting Daily article by Matt Winkeljohn on women’s tennis coach Bryan Shelton’s departure to become head men’s tennis coach at the University of Florida, it was incorrectly stated that UF had eliminated its Computer Science program. In fact, according to Cammy Abernathy, Dean of the UF College of Engineering, the University of Florida has not eliminated its Computer Science program, nor has such a move ever been contemplated. Georgia Tech Athletics and Sting Daily apologize for publishing this misinformation and we wish coach Shelton great success in his new position at the University of Florida.
