THE FLATS – Georgia Tech swimming and diving competed at day two of the 2022 Women’s NCAA Championships. McKenzie Campbell competed in the 400IM while Camryn Hidalgo competed in the 3-meter diving event.
Campbell was first for the Jackets to compete on the day in the 400 IM. She had a total time of 4:15.04. Hidalgo competed on the 3-meter board scoring 281.30 in preliminary action.
The meet will conclude on Saturday with Campbell and Hidalgo competing as well as Anna Bradescu making her debut at the NCAA Championships.
The divers, Hidalgo and Bradescu, will compete in the platform event. Both divers came off All-American performances in the event last year.
The 200 fly will be Campbell’s final event after competing in the 200 IM on Thursday and the 400 IM on Friday.
Following this meet, the Yellow Jackets will compete at the 2022 Men’s NCAA Championships from March 23-26.
