Bidding Now Open For Volleyball's Pink Dig For The Cure Jerseys

Oct. 27, 2009

ATLANTA – The Georgia Tech Volleyball team is now auctioning off autographed pink jerseys from last Saturday’s “Dig for the Cure” match with all proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The Yellow Jackets raised nearly $1,600 in the fourth annual event which raises money for breast cancer awareness. Tech had 76 digs in the match and fans could either pledge an amount per dig or a flat donation. Raffles were also held throughout the night.

The pink jerseys are designed by Russell especially for the match and are the same ones worn by the players in the match. The auction runs until Monday, Nov. 2 at Noon ET.
