ATLANTA (Oct. 18) — Georgia Tech freshman Roger Anderson captured the flight B singles title, and junior Sergio Aguirre fell in the flight A singles final on the last day of the Georgia Tech Fall Invitational Monday at the Bill Moore Tennis Center.
Anderson defeated Clemson’s Lee Porter, 6-7 (5), 6-1, 6-4, and Georgia’s Lindsey Joseph downed Aguirre, 6-0, 7-6 (1).
Tech redshirt freshman David Wright won the flight A consolation with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Kendall Swartz of Georgia Southern, and senior Robert Wright won the flight B final with a 6-3, 6-3 win against Nigel Mitten of UNC Greensboro.
