GREENSBORO, N.C. – Georgia Tech placed 201 student-athletes on the 62nd annual Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll as announced by the league office on Friday.
Track and field led the way for the Jackets, placing 57 student-athletes on the honor roll. Swimming and diving added 42 honorees, followed by football with 35 and softball with 17.
The Yellow Jackets were led by Alex Grady (cross country, track and field) and Rachel Thorne (cross country, track and field), who both received the honor for the fifth time in their collegiate careers. In total, the Jackets had 58 student-athletes named to the list for at least the third time in their collegiate career.
The ACC Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year. The conference recognized a record 4,650 student-athletes.
