Yellow Jackets In The NFL Update

Nov. 23, 2010

Who says Yellow Jackets and Miami Hurricanes can’t get along?

Former Yellow Jacket Dawan Landry scored a touchdown Sunday after receiving a lateral from former Hurricane Ed Reed. Reed intercepted a Carolina Panthers pass and unselfishly dished off to Landry, who sprinted to the corner of the end zone for a game-clinching touchdown.

Sunday was a good day for other former Georgia Tech standouts. Keith Brooking had 11 tackles in a Cowboys win. Mansfield Wrotto made his second straight start and the Bills won their second straight game. Daryl Smith had six tackles and a sack for the 6-4 Jaguars.
