ATLANTA – The Georgia Tech softball team will play in the ninth annual NFCA Leadoff Classic this Friday-Sunday, Feb. 27-29. The tournament will host five of the top seven teams (No. 3 California, No. 4 Washington, No. 5 Oklahoma, No. 6 Georgia and No. 7 Michigan) in the nation.
Georgia Tech will play in a pool with the seventh-ranked Wolverines (9-2), No. 12 Nebraska (8-4) and Virginia Tech (6-1). Bracket play will begin on Saturday and run through Sunday. All the games can be followed on ramblinwreck.com.
