Yellow Jacket Caravan Kicks Off In Macon

ATLANTA – The annual Yellow Jacket Caravan, which features Georgia Tech head coaches, athletic director Dan Radakovich and the voice of the Yellow Jackets, Wes Durham, will make four stops beginning tonight in Macon.

Football coach Paul Johnson will join Radakovich and Durham in Macon tonight at the Idle Hour Country Club. The event begins at 6 p.m. and is open to the public, although guests are asked to pre-register online (see below).

The April 7 stop in Tampa Bay and the April 19 event in Dalton, Ga., are both expected to include Johnson and women’s basketball coach MaChelle Joseph.

The May 3 Atlanta caravan stop at the Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center will be a special event. New men’s basketball coach Brian Gregory will participate that evening along with Johnson, Joseph, Radakovich and Durham.

Yellow Jacket fans are welcomed to each event and there is no charge for admission. However, those planning to attend are asked to register in advance here.

Light snacks and a cash bar will be available. All four events begin at 6 p.m.
