Both games will be played Saturday, January 23 — the East-West Shrine Game at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. (4 p.m. ET; NFL Network) and the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. (6 p.m. ET; ESPN2).

Also an accomplished kick returner, he leaves The Flats as the school’s career record-holder in kickoff return average (24.5) and ranks second all-time at Tech in kick return yards (1,860).

Skov entered Tech this season as a graduate transfer from Stanford and made eight starts for the Yellow Jackets at B-back. He finished the season tied for the team lead in touchdowns with eight, including six rushing. On the ground, he carried the ball 93 times for 377 yards, which included a career-best 75-yard effort at Duke. Also a standout in the classroom, the Guadalajara, Mexico native was a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection each of the last two seasons.
