Georgia Tech football players Kyle Wallace and P.J. Daniels earned Atlantic Coast Conference weekly awards for their play in the Yellow Jackets’ victory over Virginia.
Wallace, Tech’s sophomore right tackle, was named ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week, while Daniels, a redshirt freshman tailback, was named the ACC’s Rookie of the Week.
A 6-5, 280 pounder from Lawrenceville, Ga., Wallace earned the honor for the second time this season as he led the Tech offensive line, helping the Jackets gain 431 total yards, including 211 yards rushing. The Tech offensive line has allowed no sacks the last two games and just one in the last four games.
