Lynnette Moster totaled 38 kills and 26 digs as the Georgia Tech volleyball team improved its record to 11-2 by defeating Georgia State (5-9) and Chattanooga (3-7) on Tuesday night.
Against Georgia State, the Jackets won in three games, 30-23, 30-18, 30-18. In the match, Moster posted 22 kills and a .667 hitting percentage, while Lauren Sauer recorded 13 kills and six blocks while Kele Eveland tallied 51 assists and nine digs. Laura Kuhn also chipped in nine kills and hit .500 in the match.
In the final match of the day, the Jackets defeated Chattanooga by the scores of 30-11, 30-12, 30-14. Moster again led the Jackets with 16 kills and 15 digs followed by Sauer, Kuhn and Preiss who each had nine kills in the match. As a team, the Jackets posted 13.5 blocks as Preiss recorded seven and Eveland had six. Defensively, Marisa Aston totaled 12 digs, followed by Keight Vincent who had 10.
