Despite facing defenses designed to shut him down, Michael Devoe was one of the ACC's top scorers during the 2021-22 season, earning Third-Team All-ACC honors. Devoe led Tech and was third in the ACC in scoring with 17.9 points per game, and led the Yellow Jackets in assists with 3.1 per contest while upping his rebounding to a career-high 4.9 per game. Michael Devoe earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference recognition three times in his Georgia Tech career – third-team as a senior and honorable mention as a sophomore and junior. He also was named Georgia men’s college player of the year by the Atlanta Tipoff Club. As a senior, he finished No. 3 in the ACC in scoring (17.90 ppg), No. 4 in three-point percentage (.365), No. 10 in ACC in 3pt FG per game (2.26), and No. 8 in minutes (34.54 mpg). He also posted a career-high average in rebounds (4.9 rpg). He was one of only nine Division I players, and the only one from a power conference school, to average at least 17.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.4 steals per game.

Michael Devoe was balling and was the star of the game in Georgia Tech's win over Georgia. Devoe scored a career-high 37 points. He also had seven rebounds, five assists, and two steals.
Michael Devoe left it all on the court for Georgia Tech versus the Wisconsin Badgers in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Devoe poured in 30 points, which led all scorers. He was 11-20 from the field, and 5-10 from 3-point land.
For the third time this season, and the first time in ACC play, Michael Devoe scored 30 or more points in a game for Georgia Tech. Playing against Virginia Tech, Devoe scored 30 points on 11-19 shooting, including 5-9 from three-point range.
