A small forward able to defend multiple positions and contribute offensively when needed, Khalid Moore Kept his starting position from the end of his junior season at the small forward spot. He started 30 of 32 games and averaged 5.2 points and 3.4 rebounds, both career-best averages, while hitting 40.9 percent from the floor. Moore also posted career highs in steals (34, third on the team), field goals made and attempted (63-of-154) and played a career-high 23.8 minutes per game. In ACC games, he averaged 5.1 points, 2.8 rebounds per game and hit 39 percent from the floor. The Brooklyn, N.Y., product scored a career-high 19 points on Jan. 29 against Miami, going 9-of-12 from the floor, also career bests, and scored 13 points in first meeting (12/5) against North Carolina, hitting 5-of-8 from the floor and 2-of-3 three-point attempts. Moore played his best basketball of the season over a 14-game stretch prior to Feb. 2 loss at Virginia Tech, averaging 7.9 points while hitting 40-of-76 shots from the floor (52.6 pct.) during that stretch.
