Two Yellow Jackets Suspended For Two Games

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech sophomores Dennis Andrews and Anthony Autry have been suspended for the first two football games of the 2014 season for violating the Athletic Association’s student-athlete conduct policy.

Andrews, a running back from Tallahassee (Fla.) native, played in all 13 games last season as a redshirt freshman. He rushed 12 times for 140 yards (11.7 yards per attempt) and caught one pass for 37 yards.

Autry, a wide receiver from Norcross (Ga.), played as a true freshman in 2012 before sitting out last season to recover from a knee injury.

Georgia Tech’s first two games of the 2014 season come at home versus Wofford (Aug. 30) and at Tulane (Sept. 6).
