ATLANTA (April 27) – Georgia Tech’s football game against Central Florida on Sept. 2, the Yellow Jackets’ home opener, will kick off at 7 p.m., and the Navy contest on Sept. 16 will have a 3:30 p.m. kickoff at Bobby Dodd Stadium/Grant Field. Neither game is scheduled to be televised.
Kickoff times have now been set for five of the 12 games on Georgia Tech’s 2000 schedule. Tech’s Aug. 27 opener at Virginia Tech, nationally televised on ESPN2, as well as Thursday night ESPN games at NC State on Sept. 21 and at home against Virginia on Nov. 9 all have 8 p.m. kickoffs. Remaining kickoff times will announced 12 days prior to the game.
