Feb. 21, 2008

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Talisa Kellogg, a junior outside hitter at Georgia Tech that earned honorable mention All-America honors following the 2007 season, is one of 114 athletes trying out for the U.S. Women’s National Team this weekend, as announced by USA Volleyball earlier this week.

Kellogg is one of 28 outside hitters trying out at the U.S. Olympic Training Center as USA Volleyball identifies prospective athletes for the U.S. National and Olympic Teams, as well as the A2 program which is expected to train in Atlanta in mid- to late-May.

Kellogg has prior experience with USA Volleyball, having competed with the A2 team in high school, and is one of just three active ACC players trying out this weekend.
