Tech's Stojanovska Heads To Women's NCAA Championships

ATLANTA – Freshman Vesna Stojanovska will compete in the Women’s NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, Thursday-Sunday, March 18-21, at Texas A&M, in College Station, Texas. Stojanovska tallied NCAA ‘B’ qualifying standards in the 200-yard butterfly (1:58.82), 200 freestyle (1:49.05) and 500 freestyle (4:51.70).

Stojanovska becomes the second women’s swimming and diving athlete to compete at the NCAA Championships in its third year of existence. The Skopje, Macedonia, native ended her rookie campaign with school records in the 200, 500 and 1000 freestyle events.

All preliminaries will begin at 11 a.m. with the finals starting at 7 p.m. The results for the entire Women’s NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship meet can be found at Women’s NCAA Swimming and Diving Page.
