Tech's Prystaj Tabbed ACC Female Performer of the Week

ATLANTA – Junior Laurissa Prystaj earned Atlantic Coast Conference Female Performer of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. Prystaj earns the honor for the second time in her career.

Prystaj established new school records on the one- and three-meter springboards last weekend to lead Tech to wins over Emory and North Florida. A native of Fairport, N.Y., Prystaj posted a new school record score of 304.95 to record a NCAA Zone Diving qualifying mark. On the three-meter board, Prystaj broke another school record with a NCAA Zone mark of 330.30 to win both boards for the Jackets.

Georgia Tech will host the men’s and women’s Atlantic Coast Conference Swimming and Diving Championships, Feb. 16-19 (women) and Feb. 23-26 (men), in the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center. All meets are free admission in the GTAC and can be followed via live stats on www.ramblinwreck.com.
