Tech's Brown Named ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech tackle Chris Brown was named Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week for his play in the Yellow Jackets’ 52-20 victory over Wake Forest.

Brown, a senior from Augusta, Ga., was Tech’s top-peforming offensive lineman against the Demon Deacons. The 6-6, 315-pounder helped pave the way for the Jackets to gain 578 yards of total offense, the seventh-best figure in school history. Tech rolled up season-highs for passing yards (333) and rushing yards (245), including 111 yards rushing by third-string tailback Sidney Ford. Brown graded 90 percent with four domination blocks against the Deacons as he helped Tech record its third-highest point total in an ACC game.
