ATLANTA — Led by singles and doubles victories by senior Jaime Wong and freshman Kelly Anderson, the Georgia Tech women’s tennis team dropped just two sets en route to a 7-0 win over 24th-ranked South Carolina on Wednesday afternoon at the Bill Moore Tennis Center. The win was the fourth straight for the Yellow Jackets.

Anderson and Wong teamed up in doubles action to get the Jackets (7-2) going against the Gamecocks (8-2). The duo was a winner at No. 1 doubles against 30th-ranked Kathy Boyanovich and Magda Wojdylo by an 8-3 score. Tech clinched the doubles point in the match with an 8-4 win at No. 3 by the team of Mysti Morris and Lyndsay Shosho over South Carolina’s tandem of Catherine Brown and Justine Walsh.

Anderson was a winner at No. 3, needing three sets to down Danielle Wiggins. After winning the first set by a 6-0 score, Anderson dropped the second set in a tiebreaker, 7-6, before rallying to win the third set by a 6-4 count.
