ATLANTA – The Georgia Tech women’s basketball team announces three changes to the 2005-06 schedule, altering the date and site of the Yellow Jackets’ preseason game against the Premier Players, and adjusting the game times for the matchup against Tulsa and the first day of play in the Georgia Tech/Atlanta Marriott NW Holiday Invitational.
The Jackets were originally scheduled to play the Premier Players Friday, November 11th at 7 p.m. at Alexander Memorial Coliseum, but that contest has now been moved to the Georgia Dome and will be played Thursday, November 10th. The start time for the game will be announced at a later time.
Georgia Tech’s game against Tulsa has been pushed back to 4 p.m. from the originally scheduled time of 2 p.m. on the 18th of December, while the game times for the first day of competition in the annual holiday tournament on Dec. 30 will now be 1 and 3 p.m. The Yellow Jackets will square off against Alabama State at 1 p.m. that Friday, while Brown and UMass meet at 3 p.m. Game times for the consolation and championship games for the tournament will remain at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., respectively, with the men’s team competing against Bethune-Cookman at 5 p.m. that evening.
