Tech Welcomes Those Displaced by Hurricane Frances

ATLANTA–With many Floridians heading north to escape Hurricane Frances, the Georgia Tech Athletic Association is offering special discounted tickets for Saturday’s season-opening football game for any individuals or families displaced from their homes.

Good weather is forecast for the Atlanta area for Saturday as the Yellow Jackets kick off at 1 p.m. against Samford at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Grant Field.

Any individuals who present a hotel bill or a Florida driver’s license Saturday morning at the Georgia Tech Ticket Office can purchase reserved seats for $15 each (cash only). The main ticket window on Bobby Dodd Way will open at 9 a.m. and will remain open until kickoff.
