ATLANTA – Georgia Tech volleyball fans will have numerous opportunities throughout the 2008 season to catch their team on the air, as three home matches are scheduled to be broadcast on SportSouth, four others will be available on ACC Select, and a total of 12 matches can be heard on WREK Radio.
SportSouth will broadcast the Yellow Jackets’ home matches against Michigan, Florida State and Duke on a tape-delay basis this season. The match dates and times, in addition to air dates are as follows:
Sun., Sept. 7 vs. Michigan, 2 p.m. -- to air 9/13 at 1 p.m. and 9/17 at 8 p.m.Fri., Oct. 3 vs. Florida State, 7 p.m. -- to air 10/11 at 1 p.m. and 10/15 at 8 p.m.Fri., Oct. 10 vs. Duke, 7 p.m. -- to air 10/18 at 1 p.m. and 10/22 at 8 p.m.
ACC Select, the premier online video broadcasting system of the Atlantic Coast Conference, returns for its third season under new leadership, and the Yellow Jacket volleyball team will have a minimum of six matches carried via the internet in 2008. Fans may watch the following matches live and on demand for a minimal cost by visiting the volleyball schedule page on RamblinWreck.com (unless otherwise noted), while more road matches may be added as the season progresses:

Returning for his seventh season calling the play-by-play for WREK Radio is Kurt Hoyt, who will call 12 matches for the Yellow Jackets in 2008. WREK Radio, 91.1 FM in Atlanta and online at www.wrek.org, is a 40,000-watt student radio station located in the heart of campus, and Tech fans can hear Yellow Jacket football, basketball and baseball games on the station in addition to the following volleyball matches this season:
