Tech-UVA Will Not Be Televised

Nov. 2, 2001

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech’s Nov. 10 game at Virginia will not be televised after all, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Friday. ESPN, which had originally expected to televise the game at 3:30 p.m., does not have the TV window available. The game will still begin at 3:30, but there will be no television coverage.

The Yellow Jackets still have two ESPN dates remaining on its schedule, Nov. 24 at home against Georgia and Dec. 1 at Florida State. The ACC announced earlier this week that the Tech-Georgia game has moved to ESPN and will kick off at 7:45 p.m. The starting time for the FSU game has not been announced.

The starting time and television for Tech’s other remaining game, Nov. 17 at Wake Forest, will be announced Monday, Nov. 5.
