In celebration of Saturday’s season opening football game against Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech students are invited to a Pep Rally Friday night from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. at Russ Chandler Baseball Stadium on the Tech campus.
Two-hundred student tickets to the Tech-Florida State football game on Nov. 9 will be given away at the Pep Rally.
Beginning at 10 p.m., students can enter Gate 1 and sit in Russ Chandler Stadium’s premium chair back seats to enjoy free chicken wings from Wing Zone. Tech mascots Buzz and the Rambling Wreck, the Georgia Tech Marchiing Band and the Tech cheerleaders will be on hand.
Local band “To Whom it Concerns” will play from 11 p.m. – 12 midnight, followed by the film, “Remember the Titans,” which will be shown on the stadium video screen beginning at 12 midnight.
All Tech students are invited, and admission is free.
