Tech Radio Network Adds New Northwest Georgia Affiliates

June 29, 2010

ATLANTA — The Georgia Tech ISP Sports Radio Network has added WBLJ (1230 AM) in Dalton and WSAA (93.1 Jack-FM) in Cleveland, TN, to its list of affiliates for the upcoming football season, providing the Yellow Jackets with expanded coverage in northwest Georgia and southeast Tennessee.

WBLJ will carry broadcasts of the popular “Paul Johnson Radio Show,” a weekly hour-long production featuring Tech head coach Paul Johnson, who has been named ACC Coach of the Year in each of the past two seasons. WSAA, which covers both the Dalton and Chattanooga regions, will be home for all Yellow Jacket game broadcasts throughout the 2010 campaign.

“We are delighted to expand our network coverage with these two new affiliates,” Owen Shull, general manager of the Georgia Tech ISP Network office in Atlanta, says, “and know that the many Tech supporters in these areas will enjoy our broadcasts during what we feel is going to be another outstanding football season.”

The first “Paul Johnson Radio Show” for 2010 airs on the Georgia Tech ISP Sports Network on August 25th at 7 pm.

The Yellow Jackets open 2010 play on September 4th, hosting South Carolina State.
