THE FLATS – Georgia Tech participated in the first day of competition at Georgia’s Bulldog Last Chance Invite on Saturday, Feb. 25.
The Jackets qualified for the finals in three events. Anna Hadjiloizou and Will Coady both qualified for the 50 free finals. Hadjiloizou placed third with a time of 22.84 in the women’s A final. Coady competed in the men’s B final, recording a time of 20.75. Coady also finished with a time of 1:49.30 in the men’s 200 free.
In the men’s 100 breast, Daniel Kertesz (53.38) and Justin Alderson (53.41) both qualified for the men’s B final and swam NCAA B Cut times.
McKenzie Campbell competed in the women’s 200 IM time trials, finishing with an NCAA B Cut time of 1:59.14. She also swam a time of 4:19.89 in the women’s 400 IM preliminaries.
